Trailer for IMAX Hubble 3D

This trailer aired before Avatar at my local IMAX theatre. It looks really cool. It's weird seeing people I know on a giant screen and in 3D.

Download your 2010 ISS Calendar

NASA has made available a PDF file of the 2010 ISS Calendar for educators (and fans) to download and print out. It's not pretty - it looks like an engineer designed it, but it might have some information that is of interest. Click here to download it.

Max's blog

Cosmonaut Maxim Suraev has been documenting his experiences on the ISS in the form of a blog. The blog, in its original Russian can be read here or as English translations at RussiaToday’s website, here.

Max has a great sense of humor and was fun to train. He came to every class smiling. His blog is entertaining and candid. I can’t imagine NASA PAO letting an American astronaut write like this.

  • I am an instructor at NASA. I care greatly for what we accomplish in space exploration and want to share that with everyone. I must, however, make it clear that nothing I say on this blog is endorsed by NASA or represents the policies or views of anyone at NASA. They are my thoughts and my fault if you don't like them.
